At this writing, I'm 44 years old and I'm openly gay. I have a job that enables me to travel the country, see friends that don't live near me and sometimes experience places I've never been to before. I am a published author ("The Firflake: A Christmas Story" from iUniverse, available through Amazon). I'm working on another Christmas book as well as a mystery novel in my spare time, while several of my short stories make the rounds to various magazines. My favorite comic books are Sandman, JSA and Fables; my favorite writers are Neil Gaiman, Madeliene L'Engle, Orson Scott Card, Jim Butcher, Christopher Rice, James Dickey, Stephen King, George RR Martin, Carolyn Rogers. My musical tastes run from classical (Dvorak's New World Symphony) to classic rock, from Broadway to Ben Lee, from ... well, you get the point. I used to be able to say the only thing I don't own is rap, but I've recently purchased some tracks by gay rapper soce, so that blows that. However, I don't own any death metal.
